Progressive Jazz Fusion band looking for saxophone

Trouvaille Quintet (now currently a trio) is looking to rebuild again. You probably haven't heard of us as we've only done one gig, but have released an EP and are looking to do as much gigging as possible this year. Our previous guitarist and sax both ended up moving to different states. Currently we're auditioning guitarists and that's going really well so far... WHAT WE DO: Original jazz music in the vein of Return to Forever or Weather Report but not quite as note-y or fast. Sometimes we sound kinda like GoGo Penguin or Mammal Hands (when we had a sax player). Covers of some more obscure tunes, and covers of not so obscure tunes. Mostly original jams. WHO WE NEED: an experienced, confident sax player that can improvise over changes in just about any key, as our typical setlist is all over the map as far as key signatures. Solid sight-reading skills are a plus and *availability* is super important. This is a serious project, we are passionate about what we do and need someone reliable to join our squad. We rehearse a few times a month. We aren't sticklers about being late but it always works better when everyone is pretty much on time. Looking to gig immediately.
