Growing Repair Shop looking for Light Duty Diesel Techs

J's Performance is GROWING!!!! We are not your normal mom & pop shop. We have good pay & provide benefits for you and your family. We also have a career pipeline with promotion opportunities available. We just secured a second location and are looking for experienced mechanics/technicians. At our headquarters location we repair gas cars & light duty diesel vehicles (Ford, Chevy, etc.)--no semi's! If you don't know how to work on light duty diesels, but are mechanically inclined, we can teach you and provide training. The guys (or gals) that come with experience could see up to $55 an hour, but you've got to have shop experience with light duty diesels to demand top pay. At our headquarters location, we have 3 technicians and are looking to hire 2 more diesel techs. At our new second location, downtown Fresno, we are looking to hire a Foreman, 3 Technicians, & a service advisor. At our second location, we would love it if you have diesel experience, but if you don't its okay if you are mechanically inclined and willing to learn. This location will have an emphasis on gas with smaller diesel jobs. The other location will be primarily diesel jobs. Mechanically inclined means you know your way around a car/truck engine. You may not be a master tech, but you like figuring out how engines work. You may have rebuilt a car or two in your day and are open to learning something new! Compensation We are willing to pay between $25-$55 an hour (based on experience), plus 401K and medical/dental benefits. Ideally, you should have a valid Ca. drivers license with clean record Have all your own tools. Have shop experience.
