I have a very sweet 3-4 year old Great Dane/catahoula mix dog who needs a new home. Unfortunately due to a change in work schedule I am unable to give him what he needs. I rescued him a year ago and over that time he has warmed up to humans dramatically. He still needs some training, but knows how to sit and is housebroken 95% of the time. He’s excellent on a leash, very mellow, and goofy. He loves to play with other dogs so a home with younger dogs to show him the ropes and play would be best. No cats or chickens— his prey-drive is strong. Kids are fine. He doesn’t chew on things or jump. Healthy and neutered and up to date on shots. He is gentle and quite timid. Someone who works from home and has lots of time to spend with him would be best. Great Danes love to be with their people and he deserves to have a lot of TLC after his difficult start to life.
