Warehouse Associate – Part Time

Join us in this important role. Earn $17.00/hour to start! Our clean, organized warehouse is located at 1600 Hunter Rd, Hanover Park, IL 60133. We have several part-time openings available on all 3 shifts: • 8am to Noon • Noon to 4pm • 4pm to 8pm What you’ll do at Insight Receive all incoming product, including special handling of small shipments. Pick, Pack, and QC all shipping orders, including special handling of small shipments. Following all Insight policies and procedures, you’ll be responsible for meeting or exceeding your individual and/or departmental metrics • Verify contents of shipment compared to shipping documents. Note any discrepancies or damage. • Operate computer terminal to enter receipts and printer to print labels. • Pick, outbound orders using RF scanners • Verify quantity and the correct products • Select the right size of boxes and pack the product, send the boxes onto conveyor line to be QC in the upper mezzanine • QC’ers Operate computer terminal to enter handling units and verify orders with the correct count and the correct product and print shipping labels • Maintain cleanliness of work area. • Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions What you’ll need to join Insight • High School Education or equivalent • Ability to type 25-40 wpm • Must have some computer experience, the ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills • Must be able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion • Must have the capability to use RF technology • 6 months of warehouse experience is preferred but not required • Valid forklift certification is a plus • Knowledge of a FedEx, UPS and DHL Power Stations, WMS system, SAP preferred Learn more about working with Insight here: Insight.com
