Research Volunteer Subjects Needed

Description

People with elevated blood pressure or hypertension are needed for a Clinical Trial funded by the National Institutes of Health. Subjects must NOT be taking prescription medications to lower their blood pressure. The study will require random assignment to either an exercise intervention or heat therapy intervention for approximately 12 weeks. This study is being conducted in the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. Eligible subjects may elect to participate in additional study activities including cognitive tests and MRI scans at The Lewis Center for Neuroimaging.
