This is a fully immersive experience where you'll get to handle and interact with our pair of reindeer. This Christmas team spends most days bringing the magic of Christmas to people at Holiday Festivals but their quiet down time at the farm and personal attention is what they love best! We'll begin with a short introduction to reindeer, unique behaviors and how farm owner Sophia came to have them in her back yard. Then you'll have an opportunity to handle and interact with the reindeer yourself. This is a fully outdoor experience - after all - reindeer prefer the cold of the arctic! But we'll warm you up with some spiced cider and chocolate chip cookies! Size is limited to 5 visitors per session for a small, hands on, intimate experience. Important information you should know: Because our experience is educational and hands on, it is appropriate for children 12+. While we will accept younger reindeer enthusiasts, please understand that for safety reasons, they may not get to be as hands on with the reindeer as they (or you) would like them to be. Both reindeer and small children are usually delighted with each other on first meeting (and for photos) and then usually the smaller children chase the chickens for the next 45 minutes (which is completely acceptable). For the youngest reindeer fans we recommend visiting Watson's Nursery in Puyallup where there are a team of reindeer there for viewing for free. Covid Safety: Your safety, ours and our reindeers' safety is of the utmost concern. The following covid safety measures are in place while visiting: Group size limited to no more than five plus handlerAll participants must wear masks unless socially distancedHand sanitizer will be provided and all guests must use before handling reindeerDo not attend if you are sick or have any covid-like symptoms.
