We bought our first forklift and inventory system and now we need you. We are a growing 20-year-old company in the Phoenix valley – based in Mesa (101 & Broadway). We specialize in renovations of multifamily (apartments) and single-family homes. We are looking for an experienced Inventory & Warehouse Leader to join us in our new 10,000 sqft showroom and warehouse in Mesa, AZ. BI-LINGUAL: English / Spanish a plus. Inventory Manager Job Responsibilities: - Oversees a small team of warehouse employees. - Manages make purchases, track shipments, and maintain stock levels. - Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. - Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. - Manages schedules of employees, and logistics of shipments - Communicates with warehouse employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues. - Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients. - Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics. - Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management. - Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and participates in the wider company goal of sales and market growth improving profit and processes. - Here are a few key duties we are looking for in a successful candidate. You will be involved in and or help us implement: - Work with accounting to set up part number scheme in our business operating system - Work with accounting to set up and implement PO process for ordering, - Monitor weekly inventory levels of appliances, apartment parts kits and hardware, paints and sundries used by renovations team on customer properties. - Order inventory from select vendors using Kanban style, Min/Max or other preferred manufacturing practices. - Monitor company vehicles for service schedules and registration renewals. - Keep a clean warehouse and office environment. - Be ready to wear multiple hats to help our business run efficiently and fun Recent Career Experience - Working in a warehouse and/or as a facilities manager for the last 2 years. - Working in a business system for the last 2 years - You are savvy with Phones and Apps, computers and web-based programs. - Microsoft Office Skills / Requirements: - You can count quickly; math is your jam and you are VERY detail oriented - Speaking/Typing: Spanish / English (not required) - Cell phone, apps, computers are your friend - Beginner to moderate knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks are a big plus - Prior knowledge of multifamily industry, construction, painting, drywall a plus - Hours are 6am – 3pm /Monday – Friday - Be able to lift a 25-gallon pail of paint from the floor to the bed of a pickup truck - Move a refrigerator or 10 of them with an appliance dolly into a truck with a gate-lift - Operate a pallet jack / forklift - Handy with tools – trouble shoot and maintain our equipment like paint sprayers and guns The Future: We offer health insurance and other benefits to those candidates that qualify and pass our 90 probationary period. This role will be based in our Mesa office and is a full-time position. We work Monday – Friday. This position will be compensated based on your experience.
