MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in Massapequa for the week ending Aug. 27. All charges are merely accusations. Someone stole several items from an unlocked car parked on North Wisconsin Avenue in North Massapequa on Aug. 25.A man stole hair products from the Pequa Plaza Shopping Center, located on Broadway in Massapequa, on Aug. 19.Kerry Tinker, 58, of Melville, was arrested on Aug. 21 and charged with shoplifting from Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace, located on Hicksville Road in Massapequa.The tires of a car were slashed while it was parked on Broadway in Massapequa Park on Aug. 20.
