Description
Hiring event and hospitality staff to join the site operations team for an upcoming festival in Philadelphia.
Staff will work in teams before, during and after the event to prepare, distribute, set up, and break down the festival’s assets throughout and around the venue. Assistants will work within a dedicated zone and report to their specified Zone Coordinator to ensure all vendor stations are properly equipped and serviced at all times.
WORK DATES:
Thursday 5/12 - Mandatory Training Session (paid)
Friday 5/13 - Load In
Saturday 5/14 - Event Day and Load Out
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-Attend mandatory training on Thursday, May 12th
-Setup and breakdown event footprint including beer/liquor/wine distribution and equipment setup
-Efficiently complete job assignments based on production schedule timeframes
-Assist Zone Coordinator and Managers with site specific functions
-Interact with Producers/Vendors to resolve their needs and potential issues
-Inventory organization
QUALIFICATIONS
-18 years of age or older
-Authorized to work in the U.S.
-Upbeat, energetic personality
-Able to lift and transport 50 lbs or more
-Willing and able to work long hours on consecutive days
-Demonstrated excellence in verbal communication with colleagues and management
-A self-starter who is willing to help and support colleagues

COMPENSATION
We will hire Site Assistants as Independent Contractors at a pay rate of $16.00/hour (+ overtime opportunities), and provide one meal for every 4 hours of work.
