Groundskeeper/ Maintenance, SMITH The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining impeccability standards inside of Pascal and Homesick. He or she works to ensure that the maintenance and spatial projects are brought to completion. The Groundskeeper is accountable for working with the Operations Manager to ensure our property is operating at its full potential and cleanliness standards. The Groundskeeper will also support on maintenance projects at the other locations if need be. Commitment, enthusiasm, integrity, humility, and grace under pressure are required. Accountable to: Jordan Kantrowitz Accountable for: Spatial Impeccability, Maintenance Ideal skills and attributes: • Enrolling leadership, strong ability to manage people and projects. • Customer service: communication, maturity, charm, and grace under pressure • Confident to independently problem solve and make quick decisions • Coachable and can pass coaching along to others • Awareness: emotional intelligence as well as attention to detail around impeccable space and service • Organizational skills to support consistency and follow-through • Time management: able to be present • Strong communication General accountabilities include: • Maintaining the impeccability and cleanliness of the properties he or she is accountable for. • Weekly window washing • Daily lightbulb checks, weekly lightbulb cleaning. • Plant care. • Maintains cleanliness and impeccability of everything in the eye of the customer as well as behind the scenes. • Ensure all painting, flooring, tiling is tight. • Dusting fixtures/ cleaning mirrors weekly. • Change air filters/ grates monthly. • Properly dispose of waste/ clean garbage cans weekly. • Sweep daily, power wash weekly. • Installations, repairs, adjustments as needed. • Snow removal and salting in the winter. • Assist in emergency repairs as needed. • Bi-weekly painting touch ups • Maintaining the hallways to make sure they are clear of clutter. • Checking on all equipment to make sure it is functional and operating at its full potential weekly. • Seasonal projects such as outdoor seating, Vestibules being installed and removed. • Higher level bathroom maintenance and upkeep.
