seeking vocal coaching / lessons - 70s Rock

Seeking in person vocal lessons by someone who really understands it. I'm 50+ years old and play guitar but no real singing. Want to learn the proper vocal techniques (I assume there are) for warm up, practise strategies, ear training / pitch awareness. Not seeking further music theory. Goal is to get "reasonable", build endurance and maybe get just a couple notes higher range ;-) Ultimate objective is material by Jerry Garcia, Hendrix, and maybe other 70s stuff. (No illusions of lead singing on the order of Zep, Van Halen or such material.) Ideal teacher would start me off on the right foot. And be available as I build a repertoire for honest constructive advice. Have you done this before? What do you charge? I'm in the Kings Park area and we could do it here, or at your location if not too far away.
