Who We Are: We’re Sorry Darling! We’re a new band looking to form a stable lineup for the purposes of regularly rehearsing, recording, playing live, and beyond. We’ve played live a few times with more on the books. We currently rehearse weekly in a shared practice space in the Pfizer Building. https://www.instagram.com/wearesorrydarling/ (for live clips, outfit vibes, etc.) FFO: Rilo Kiley, Cranberries Peppy 90’s teen rom-com music with a rock kick and the occasional lyrical gut punch. Who You Are: Musically, you are a super tight drummer with personality and all-around-musician looking to form a rock solid rhythm section underneath a set of rapidly growing original tunes. You’re into playing for the song but you find a way to put your own stamp on what you do. A major plus would be if you are also a confident backing vocalist interesting in joining in two/three part harmonies. Personally, you are responsible, communicative, and take the craft seriously without taking yourself too seriously. Short Term Goals: We want to get tight enough as both people and musicians that we can play every show like it matters and make some kick-ass recordings that stand up to anything else out there. We want to engage with indie-level PR and labels to get our name out there and see if we can handle some small-time touring. Ultimately, we’re realists who don’t expect to hit the big time but we want to see if we can get one step further than we think we can.
