Description

Regretfully having to rehome one of my pups. She turned a year old on December 27 of this last year. She is a wonderful dog for one on one care. But does not do well with her brother or my cats. I work three jobs so unfortunately I just don’t have the time to put into training her and my other animals don’t have the same issues. I have been looking to put her into a no kill shelter so that she could get the proper training but no one has room. So I am on here as a last resort. Due to having both of her parents I know her exact lineage.. she is 1/2 Shiba Inu, 1/4 Cocker Spaniel, 1/8 Dingo, 1/16 Blue Heeler and 1/16 Rottweiler. Typical farm dog roots! I helped deliver her father 14 years ago in a barn if that gives you any indication where they came from. She is very high energy and super cuddly! Not fully potty trained but gets the concept as long as she can be let out multiple times throughout the day. She needs a yard or a runner desperately! And I think she would succeed in life just fine. I have so many more photos where these ones came from. And it is very hard to let go. But I want to find her someone where maybe she’s the only animal or at least someone who has the ability and time to train her. She is wonderful with children and loves to go on hikes! She will come with leash collar kennel feeding bowls and toys. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, however I had administered them all myself while we were in Ohio. So she will need updated rabies and registration in order to be legal in Colorado Springs. I’m not sure if she would respond to a new name but the name that she has had for just over a year is Avigail Lucille (Ava for short). I named her Avigail because it means father‘s daughter. And she is the one of four from the litter that looks the most like her dad. So it just seemed fitting. Her other two sisters were rehomed at an early age. I had planned on keeping her and her brother but they just don’t get along. Hopefully this post finds the absolute right person for her! I look forward to all responses.
