We're hiring at our Northport location! The position available starts at 20-25 hours per week with potential to become full time after a 30 day training period.
We are the largest brick and mortar retailer of high quality hemp products in the United States with 500+ stores, however these locations are locally owned and operated.
Our store hours are 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday, closed on Sunday. Open availability is preferred as we occasionally have events outside of regular store hours.
JOB SUMMARY:
-Team Member
-Gains and maintains relationships with customers in a retail store environment.
-Our goal is to educate our customers, create an informed consumer, and offer them our exclusive and award winning products and product knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Providing excellent customer service and growing professional relationships with our return customers.
-Educating incoming customers, answering questions to the best of your ability, and showing customers all product options.
-Maintains an organized check-out area for appearance and current promotional materials. -Making sure the store is always presentable.
-Processing orders that are to be mailed out and occasionally delivering orders locally.
-Completing opening and closing procedures.
-Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from the manager and/or owners.
-Adheres to dress code: Neat appearance, no ripped jeans, etc. Business casual.
-Attending and working events/markets (sometimes these are outside of regular business hours.)
-Outdoor marketing and flyering.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES:
-Your OWN reliable transportation is required.
-Strong customer service experience.
-Excellent communication skills, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
-Flexible scheduling during our hours of operation.
