NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau Count Police Department reported the following larcenies from cars for the week ending Oct. 29. Assorted items were stolen from a car parked on Carolina Avenue in Island Park on Oct. 21.$40 was stolen from an unlocked car parked on Doughty Boulevard in Lawrence on Oct. 22.$200 and receipts were stolen from a car parked on central Avenue in Lawrence.A speaker was stolen from a car parked o Lucille Avenue in Elmont on Oct. 25.Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on 238th Street in Elmont on Oct. 24.Items were stolen from an unlocked car parked on Atlantic Avenue in Farmingdale on Oct. 24.Items were stolen from a car parked on Flanders Drive in North Woodmere on Oct. 24.Items were stolen from a car parked on Arch Avenue in South Farmingdale on Oct. 20.Both license plates were stolen from a car parked on Nassau Road in Roosevelt on Oct. 26.$50 was stolen from a car parked on Hollow Court in Westbury on Oct. 27.
