We are a retail company that sells nerd-related products online and at Comicons across the country. We are seeking one individual to help with inventory control at our warehouse in Hutto. We are a small owner-operated company - currently with 6 employees. We have been in business since 2008, and are growing as we expand the number of trade shows we do annually. Position is for daily employment, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. Overtime is not required, but may be available if desired. Summary of duties: Process newly arrived merchandise, and prepare it for sale. Entering item data into spreadsheets. Loading and unloading cargo vans. Counting and verifying inventory numbers. Packing merchandise for trade shows. Pulling, packaging and shipping merchandise during peak of season. Various other tasks related to inventory control. Requirements: Must be dependable and punctual Must be self motivated and able to work alone or as part of a group. Must have basic computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job - lift boxes up to 50 lbs, be on your feet, work in non-climate-controlled environment.
