No phone calls $16.00 per hour Paid Vacation/Sick Time, Medical and Dental. 30 to 40 hours per week JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Service assistant Department: Back room Reports to: GM & Assistant GM & Backroom Manager Supervises: N/A Position Summary: This position requires assisting customers and donors with deliveries to and pick- ups from The Golden Goose Thrift Shop. This position will require you to be on your feet and moving small and very large pieces of furniture for a large portion of your shift. We are looking for someone who possesses strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of backroom receiving is helpful. This position also requires basic maintenance of the building, particularly the back room, trash, recyclables and back parking lot. Duties also include the ability to perform opening and closing procedures and assisting volunteers when necessary. A clean driving record is required. Duties and Responsibilities: The service assistant assumes responsibility for the following duties: 1. Ability to drive a 16 Ft. box truck when necessary. 2. Assisting customers with pick ups 3. Assisting donors with deliveries 4. Assisting Golden Goose truckers as needed. 5. Maintenance of the back room 6. Maintenance of the back parking lot 7. Removal of trash and recyclables 8. Assist with opening and closing procedures. 9. Knowledge of all safety procedures. 10. Knowledge of all Golden Goose policies and procedures. 11. Assist management as necessary. Job Specifications: Training Required: Three-month probationary period, on the job training. Experience Required: None Skills Required: Ability to lift 75LBS.
