WELLESLEY, MA — The Wellesley Theatre Project (WTP) will present, IMPACT! Throwback January 10th and 11th at 7pm, and January 12th at 2pm featuring students from the audition- only touring group, Senior IMPACT! The performance will feature Junior IMPACT! as they present a selection from The Little Mermaid to be performed at the Junior Theatre Festival. The performance will take place at the WTP Studio's at the Wellesley Community Center located at 219 Washington Street in Wellesley. General admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors in advance or $18 for adults and $12 for students and seniors at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wellesleytheatreproject.or... or by calling the box office at 781-235-1550 Junior and Senior IMPACT! is WTP's premiere performance outreach troupe, comprised of students ranging from 3rd grade through 12th grade who demonstrate advanced performance skills and leadership. The current students come from Wellesley, Natick, Needham, Newton, Wayland, Brookline, Concord, Weston, and Auborndale communities. The group's mission is to engage in their local and global communities through outreach by addressing important social values through performance. Senior IMPACT! will perform selections from classical musical theatre including favorites from Oklahoma, Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, Peter Pan, My Fair Lady, and many others. Junior IMPACT! will be presenting a selection from Disney's The Little Mermaid which they will be performing at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta Georgia in January 17th-20th.
