Haul Buddy is looking for Delivery and Hauling Helpers (Haul Mates) in the Raleigh/Durham area. This role is an independent contractor role. The labor will involve lifting, loading/unloading and moving bulky heavy items such as furniture, appliances, mattresses, gym equipment, etc. The Haul Mate will assist Haul Buddy drivers on their small haul deliveries by helping load and unload their trucks. Most jobs pay $20-30 per haul. Additionally, the Haul Mate may also choose to perform labor only jobs such as helping customers load/unload rented trucks or portable storage units. Haul Mates will earn $22 per hour on labor only jobs. Basic job requirements: Reliable transportation to get to jobs Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to work on short notice Occasional need to perform some assembly and disassembly of items. In order to perform work with Haul Buddy, candidates will be required to go through a criminal background check. Additional bonus if candidate has any of the following equipment that can be used on jobs (not required): Hand truck Furniture dolly(s) Furniture blankets Appliance dolly Tools To apply complete the registration form here: Haul Buddy is an on-demand delivery, hauling and moving service provider.
