Description
Due to health reasons (that I will go into later as needed), and absolutely ZERO fault of his own, I am looking for an OUTSTANDING home for my Great Dane, Llewellyn.
He is 20 months of age, turning 2 the end of August. He is purebred, Piebald in color and no AKC papers. He was neutered (age appropriate for the breed) at 18 months. His vaccines and veterinary care are up to date.
Llewellyn is big, I'd say weighing about 160-165 now and will get bigger as he matures. He is crate trained and house trained. He hasn't been around children much but I'd say he would be happy to meet them, even if he forgets his size for a moment. Thankfully he typically is not a jumper but perhaps older children would be best (6 and up). He has done well with any dog he has met, large and small, and is quite gentle with his Boston Terrier friend. With cats, he chased one but not to harm. I'd say overzealous love. The other he never chased but loves to snuggle with.
Please reach out with any questions. I'd very much appreciate learning about his potential home to see that he'll be a good fit. He'd never go to just anyone, I'd appreciate a veterinary reference and there will be a $500 rehoming fee to assure he has the best chance of going where he will continue to be loved and cared for. I'll be happy to text pictures to you, but I cannot seem to get them loaded.
