Creative Focus Groups, a trial consulting service formed by a Chicago attorney, is in need of participants for a full day mock trial. You will act as jurors in a civil case which will be presented to you similar to an actual trial. You will give feedback to the attorneys and render a judgment in the case. The attorneys will debrief you on your opinions and reactions to the evidence. The mock trial will be held on *Friday, May 13, 2022 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM* at a conference center in the Tinley Park/Orland Park area. You must be present at the venue no later than 8:45AM. You will receive a check for *$200*. A lunch will be served. You must be present for, and actively participate in the entire session to receive compensation. To be considered for this focus/discussion group, we will need to know that: *YOU ARE A RESIDENT OF COOK COUNTY who is a REGISTERED VOTER. *You are EMPLOYED full or part time, or are a student. • NEITHER you, NOR an immediate family member, is in any legal, medical, or law enforcement professions. • NEITHER you, NOR an immediate family member, is currently or was recently involved in a lawsuit. • You understand and speak English. • You are willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality/non-disclosure agreement. • You are willing to give your honest opinions. * You are willing to be video and audio taped. *You are willing to complete a confidential demographic information sheet. We are limiting the group size to 14 participants.. If you are interested and meet the above qualifications, please respond to this email. Due to the high volume of responses and the need to obtain an accurate demographic cross section of jurors, not all respondents will be selected.
