Whether we are doing a routine pick-up or a side-job, we are there to offer a clean, easy and dependable service for our community. This family-owned business is growing and we are looking for a dependable and committed trash collector that is interested in learning the business and growing with opportunity to take on driving and running the day-to-day route. No past experience required. Primary duties: - Operate garbage truck - Collect and dump trash receptacles - Follow route assignments This job is: - Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED - A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of work for the past 6 months or more - Ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, can work independently or as part of a team, thrives under pressure, organized and can take on tasks with minimal supervision Qualifications: - Must be 18 years of age - Able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to carry, reach, bend, push, pull, and climb - Able to work in all weather conditions - A valid driver’s license - Applicant must be able to drive themselves to/from work Schedule: - 32 hours a week Only serious applicants should apply.
