Press Operator Responsibilities: Press operators are the associates who actually make our products - we manufacture rubber seals for many uses, mostly for the automotive industry but we also make seals for the food & beverage industry, along with some medical devices as well. Ask about what we make in your interview, and we'd be glad to tell you - you likely use many of our products on a daily basis! Operators have their own 10x10 work areas called "cells." Each cell has a large press that heats up to melt rubber and press or mold it into small parts by pushing it into what we call a loading board (a big metal tray with cavities or holes in it). Hours/Schedules: 4 or 5 day shifts available with paid training 8 or 10-hour shifts available  Overtime is available    Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform routine bending and stretching  Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (not required) 1 year of manufacturing experience (not required)  About us:  Freudenberg is a global technology group that strengthens its customers and society long-term through forward-looking innovations.
