CLEARWATER, FL – It was a Fourth of July to remember for one family in Clearwater, as their baby was born aboard a pontoon boat with the help of fire and rescue medics.
Amber Easterday and her husband John were enjoying the holiday on a pontoon boat off the Courtney Campbell beach on Saturday when Amber went into labor while out on Old Tampa Bay, according to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, who posted the story to their Twitter account.
Clearwater Fire medics Tyler Whitfield and Kenny Sweitzer helped to deliver Amber and John's son, Aiden, and safely transported the family to a local hospital.
According to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, Amber and Aiden are both doing well.
