Come Work with the Lucky Dogs! Camp K-9 of Marin, a full-service dog care facility, is currently seeking responsible dog handlers to supervise, care for and play with our canine guests. We are searching for motivated dog lovers who enjoy getting dirty and don't mind hard work. We are looking for new staff members to take on 30-40 hours weekly. Employees must be available to work weekends and are required to work on all holidays as this is our busiest time, not to mention be VERY flexible on days available. Requirements: Applicants must be at least 18 years old and should be comfortable humanely handling all types of dogs. You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift. You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, please be responsible, honest, patient, and prompt; possess good written and verbal communication skills, a sense of humor, and most importantly, a positive attitude. Description: Typical responsibilities may include supervising playtimes, feeding meals, administering medications, potty walks, cleaning nap rooms, washing dishes, light grooming, etc. General cleaning and maintenance chores will be assigned daily. This is an enjoyable job with animals but the staff is not here just to pet puppies; there is noisy barking, flying hair, dirty paws, and very physical work involved. The pay range starts at $18.00 per hour. If you have worked with dogs previously wages will be commensurate with experience.
