Fort Bend Recycling is looking for a hardworking, hands-on environmental technician to work with our Environmental Supervisor on ensuring environmental compliance, facility upkeep, and groundskeeping of our Fort Bend Recycling and H-Town metal recycling yards. Job Duties: • Work at the direction of the Environmental Supervisor to perform and assist with daily basic mechanical upkeep of environmental related equipment, address any environmental issues, ensure spill kits are stocked, maintain the facility grounds, and handle groundskeeping. • Regular scheduled availability of 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday, and 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Sat. Qualifications: • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred. • Experience with: forklifts, groundskeeping tools, and cleaning up oil and debris and properly disposing of the waste.
