Stolen Car Chase In Wellesley Ends In Crash

WELLESLEY, MA — A car chase that started in Wellesley ended in a crash in Westwood. The chase happened on Sept. 30 just before noon. Wellesley police noticed a car speeding down Worcester Street and ran the plates' registration — the car was listed as. stolen out of Boston. When Wellesley police tried to stop the car, it sped off, starting a chase. Wellesley police had to end their chase once the car drove onto I-95 South. State Police later called Wellesley police and said the same car crashed while trying to get off the highway on Exit 15. The driver ran out of the car on foot. He was found in Westwood and arrested.
