Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for a part-time on-site position where you can prevent and solve property maintenance issues?
We have a premier commercial real estate property in the Mishawaka IN area that is ready to hire a part-time Facilities Manager to oversee all building related activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard, and that all facilities are safe and high functioning so that our tenants can work under the best conditions.
The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, proactive, tech savvy and attends to all matters in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that building grounds are clean and safe
Inspect and proactively find/prevent building issues
Communicate with tenants, vendors, internal and external partners on the status of work and issues effecting services
Keep building management software current with all issues, updates and resolutions
Oversee and perform repair and renovation projects
General handyman responsibilities
Open and close the office facility daily
Part time availability (4 hours daily) Monday-Friday + on call

Qualifications
Proven experience as a facilities manager or relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great analytical and critical thinking
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Highly proficient in technical/ engineering operations and facility management best practices
Self-motivated and directed
Aptitude to learn and use our maintenance management software
Handyman abilities including paint, drywall, concrete, general plumbing & electrical
**Must be available from ~7-10am. daily, and ~4-4:14pm daily**
