Seeking Creators, Facillitors & Creative Innovators. Raw Black Films is a production company for visionaries to produce, create and develop Unapologetic TV, Feature Films & Short Films. We have a virtual writers room called The Urban Writers Room which is a provided space to build stories while learning the fundamentals of storytelling and filmmaking from a comedic or urban perspective. We are looking for freelance Production Crew, Content Creators, Media Experts, Publicist, Actors, Videographer, Influencers and the thinkers behind it all to join in on this collective mission. We are dedicated towards bringing back the narrative of Unapologetic Storytelling and fill the void in TV, Film & Laugh culture where authenticity and representation is at the forefront. For example, projects like "US" (Thriller), "Rush Hour" (Action), and "Harlem Nights" (Drama) were based either on real-life or fictional events but the delivery has major notes of comedy. We are a newly launched company as of 2022. Raw Black Films will be the largest, most active and inclusive production company for generations to come. Our resources are as followed: - Production - On-set filming. - Inspiration Room - Real people with real lives are invited into the Inspiration Room to share stories to a team of Writers. - Motivation Room - Motivational Coaches, Industry Players and Guest Speakers are invited into the Motivation Room to provide motivation, inspiration and transparency. - Career Room - Learning the fundamentals of Storytelling, Filmmaking and Finding Your Voice. - Content Ideas - Character ideas for story building, social media skits and youtube vlogs. - Social Media 101 - Access information on how to attract the right audience, increase traffic and create engaging photos and captions. - Pitch Loglines - We accept unsolicited Loglines intended to be workshopped and potential short film development. - Network - Network amongst creators from Industry Veterans to Novice Creators with phenomenal ideas. In addition to our very own writers room, which has been designed for visionaries to receive the support of a planning team prior to the pre-production. We bridge the gap between the Planning Creative Team and the Production crew (Directors, DP's, Producers) to ensure all voices are being heard in order of producing the most authentic yet relatable material. Planning teams will provide UNPAID contribution towards story building. This is to prevent writer's block and ensure the project has relatable dialog, authentic acting and is visually stimulating. We all go face an issue while creating, this is your solution. Planning Teams will be the first to be offered an opportunity of joining the Raw Black Films Field Production Crew. All field roles will be COMPENSATED and assigned as the designated film crew for Raw Black Films production by city & state. Writer’s Room Qualifications: - Active thinker, capable of viewing one perspective for many angels - Passionate about creating, developing and sharing creative knowledge - Ability to contribute towards Creative Planning Team by assisting in Story Building - Provide support to Pre-Production, Production and Post - Knowledgeable in Comedy and/or Urban storytelling - Willingness to fill the void in TV & Film culture for generations to come NON-NEGOTIABLE Qualification: - MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR!
