Dementia Care Using the Montessori Method
The focus of this training is to assist the caregiver in giving the best care possible to our clients with dementia. You will take with you creative ideas and activities your clients can participate in, making those shifts enjoyable and constructive for both client and caregiver.
It involves using the “Montessori Method” where you will leave with tools that can stimulate memory support and help create a positive environment that encourages a connection between the caregiver and client.
This class is great for a caregiver who works for a home care agency, adult family home or assisted living. It is also a great class for a family member who is caring for a loved one with dementia and is looking for new techniques and strategies to assist a loved one with dementia.
2 CEUs earned upon completion of class.
