Production Worker Maui Greens Inc. is a Hydronic farm operating on the island of Maui. Maui Greens grows and distributes leafy green varieties to local markets and customers. Job Overview: Maui Greens is looking for hardworking and reliable personnel to carry out basic daily crop production tasks at our greenhouse facility in Kula. Our employees are responsible for daily crop management, including: seed germination, transplanting to hydroponic systems, harvesting, plant maintenance, data collection, and rotation of old crop. This job can be physically demanding, at times, and may not be for everyone. Must be physically capable to carry/transport upwards of 50lbs. While this is a greenhouse, you should be tolerant of working efficiently under outdoor conditions, including very warm weather. Requirements: • Be able to carry/transport materials upwards of 50 lbs. • An ideal candidate should have a clean record, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. • Candidates should have good attention to detail, be able to work quickly, and be self-motivated to work with little supervision. • There are no prerequisites needed in the agriculture industry, but any experience would be helpful. • Experience as a delivery driver with MARSEC and TWIC credentials is desirable, but not necessary. Compensation: This is a part-time position that pays $20 hourly with future opportunities for expanded scheduling and responsibilities. Potential full-time scheduling available for a suitable and successful candidate.
