Join us for dinner and conversation for Path with Art's Annual Fundraiser, ART TRANSFORMS: Creating Resilience!
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, join us for Path with Art's Annual Fundraiser, ART TRANSFORMS: CREATING RESILIENCE, a night of dinner and conversation with Shankar Vedantam, host of the Hidden Brain podcast aired on NPR!
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, now more important than ever as we work to build resilience in stressful times.
Hear first-hand from Participant Artists about how creativity has helped with recovery from acute, chronic and complex trauma. Learn the neuro + social science behind why art transforms from Mr. Vedantam. Raise vital funds to keep Path with Art’s programs free and accessible.
Vedantam was NPR's social science correspondent between 2011 and 2020, and spent 10 years as a reporter at The Washington Post. The Hidden Brain radio show is distributed by NPR and featured on nearly 400 national public radio stations with more than three million downloads per week.
Shankar Vedantam will help explain the behavioral and neuroscience perspective of how arts engagement establishes new neural pathways in the brain and how the creative process builds resilience.
Our Art Transforms Fundraiser keeps our programs free and accessible to the most vulnerable among us.
Vaccination or a negative COVID test is required to attend.
🎟️ Save your spot and purchase your ticket by Friday, May 19.
