Perch tournament and after party to benefit David Strand in his ongoing chemotherapy treatments and medical expenses. Join us for a fun filled perch tournament and after party on June 18th at Tall Timbers Marina. Participant must enter indvidually and all indviduals fishing on a boat must be entered in the tournament for the fish to be counted. Below are the tournament rules: ----RULES---- ALL FISH MUST BE CAUGHT ACCORDING TO MARYLAND RECREATIONAL FISHING REGULATIONS AND ON HOOK AND LINE. FISHING BOUNDARIES: Maryland Tidal Waters of the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries SPECIES: White Perch LINES IN: 5:30 a.m. June 18th, 2022 LINES OUT/WEIGH IN 1:00 PM, JUNE 14TH 2022 (Must be in line for measurements by 1:00).No entrant in line after 1pm will be allowed to enter their fish ALLOWED FISHING TACKLE: All fish must be caught by hook and line. All occupants on a vessel must be entered in the tournament. NO MAX per vessel Participants may not change boats during the tournament. PROTEST: ANY PROTEST MUST BE MADE IN PERSON TO THE JUDGES. Please be prepared to provide description of possible error or infraction, any evidence, and contact information for those who wish to be interviewed by judges. CATCH SUBMISSION DETAILS: The 5 longest perch will win the tournament. If fishing on a boat with multiple participants you must submit your catches under a team name. Measurements will be made to the nearest 1/8”The overall fish length will be judged based on the image you provide from the snout to the tip of the tail. The tail may be pinched.Tie breaker determined by time of entry. (i.e. When you sumbit your fish to the judges)
