Micro Mech is a machine-shop manufacturing graphite parts that are used mainly for the semiconductor industry which has seen and continues to see extraordinary growth. We are a subsidiary company to Ibiden Co., Ltd headquartered in Japan. We are located on Route 1 in Ipswich, MA and are in need of a reliable full-time technician team member for our graphite post-processing area, to assist in all aspects of the department. RESPONSIBILITIES • Handling of fragile Graphite parts • Operation of Hi-Temp furnaces • Maintenance of equipment supporting furnaces • Cleaning of graphite parts • Loading and unloading parts from the furnaces • Post-processing of graphite parts after furnace operations • Working/communicating well with other employees REQUIREMENTS • Must be reliable and punctual • Attention to detail • Ability to adhere to strict safety requirements • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS • Must wear proper PPE when handling various Solvents / Chemicals • A working knowledge of vacuum system operations preferred • Experience operating a Hi-Temp Furnace (Training available for the right candidate) • Basic computer skills • Must be good with numbers BENEFITS AVAILABLE for FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES • Accrued vacation time (2 weeks after 1 year) • Health, Vision, and Dental insurance • 401K participation after 30 days of employment • 10 Paid Holidays annually per company calendar • 8 PTO days accrued annually per company calendar POSITION HOURS (Two shifts available) • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime available when needed) • 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM (Overtime available when needed) PAY RATE • Competitive pay based on experience
