Northern Ridge Painting and Remodeling is seeking a full time carpenter's assistant to help with our residential carpentry projects. We are looking for a motivated individual with management aspirations. Travel will be required to different jobsites within a 20 mile radius of Amesbury, MA Job requirements - High school diploma or GED - valid drivers license and ability to drive in Massachusetts and New Hampshire - Strong language skills (English) Spanish or Portuguese a plus! - semi-clean driving record - at least 1 year of experience in a carpentry/construction role (prefer 2+) - comfort with chop saws and basic carpentry tools - comfort with ladder work up to 35' - ability to get along with staff, other contractors, customers and vendors - great communication ability - positive attitude - reliability Job duties - assisting with residential carpentry projects (mostly trim and siding replacement, deck restoration) - assisting with the transportation of tools and gear to other contractors - touch up work on painting/carpentry projects (quality control) - customer service work for new and potential customers - misc marketing work - general daily construction related tasks - general shop work (furniture/cabinets etc) Hiring ASAP - all skill levels welcome to apply
