A phrase no one expects or ever wants to hear, especially at the young age of 26: "You have cancer" Now, almost 3 years in remission, Gabby feels it is her duty and privilege to give back. As a candidate for this year's Man & Woman of the Year Campaign hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Gabby has set out to raise over $100,000 that will directly towards the research, support and advocacy of pediatric and young adult cancer patients. Every dollar raised is a vote for Gabby and another step toward finding the cure for not only blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, but ultimately cancers of all kinds. With just 5 more weeks and thousands left to raise, team Gab Goes for a Cure invites you to their fundraiser on Monday, May 23rd from 6-9pm at Polar Park. We will have food & drinks for attendees, raffle baskets, a 50:50 raffle, live music and more. All proceeds will go directly towards Gabby's Woman of the Year Campaign.
