LOST 1940s CLASS RING. GRANDFATHERS.

I lost this ring on MONDAY MAY 2nd. My grandfathers class ring somewhere between 27th and 6th and 32nd and park or that area. Gold with blue rectangle shape stone and class shield. Photos attached. Was at Patent Pending walking to HGU Hotel. I think I hit my hand on a pole and it must have fallen. I know. So dumb. How did he keep this safe through the war and I lose it on my last night of traveling in the city. I never even met him before and this ring means everything to me. I am absolutely devastated. I am willing to pay to get it back but please don’t be a jerk about it. This is precious. Thank you.
