Veterans Community Center Citrus Heights Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Wine Re-Open House Fundraiser The Veterans Community Center is delighted to bring back its annual Spaghetti Dinner & Wine Fundraiser along with the 2022 Re-Open House of our facility!Saturday, May 14, 2022 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 6921 Sylvan Road, Citrus Height, CA 95610This early evening outdoor event is a wonderful time for veterans and their families and for our community to show support for all veterans. Enjoy a delicious spaghetti meal along with music and fellowship with great people. Guests are invited to tour our facility and learn more about what we provide in the community to our local veterans. Tickets are $20 per person which includes dinner, dessert, and one 5oz glass of wine or soda beverage substitute. This event is open to the public for all those who support our military veterans. All funds from the event help the Veterans Community Center provide a free “Safe Room”, which at present we offer a variety of programs, activities, resources, gardening, and mid-day meals three times a week for all veterans in our community and the surrounding region. At the Veterans Community Center, we strive to provide the absolute best in a haven with solidarity and camaraderie for many of our local veterans, retired and active, since the establishment in 2013 by Jim and Jeanne Rounsavell who demonstrated incredible vision and perseverance to help fellow veterans cope, especially those suffering with PTSD and other disabilities. “We are excited about re-opening after interior renovations.
