PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a wrong-way crash that left two people with serious injuries Wednesday.
At 10:39 a.m., a 29-year-old New Port Richey man was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard, west of Terminal Boulevard, and collided head-on with a car driven by a 48-year-old St. Petersburg man who was heading west on Roosevelt Boulevard.
Drug and alcohol impairment by the New Port Richey man are suspected and charges are pending.
