Pride Brunch hosted by Growing Together: An LGBTQ+ Fund of The Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County Growing Together: An LGBTQ+ Fund is celebrating Pride Month with a community brunch at The Penny SLO! Join us for a beautiful spread from local favorite Brick and Mortar Catering with complimentary mimosas, and support local LGBTQ+ programs. This event will feature keynote speaker Nicole Santamaria, Executive Director of El/La Para TransLatinas, San Francisco. Nicole has expertise in healing justice and anti-violence work and has been providing support to transgender women and survivors of violence for over 15 years. Using a trauma-informed lens, she develops El/La’s diverse programs, supports staff growth, and serves as El/La’s representative to the public at large. Growing Together: An LGBTQ+ Fund is requesting a charitable donation of $20-$50 to attend this event. Admission, which is generously being funded separate from the donation amount, includes: full brunch buffet, coffee bar, 2 mimosa tickets, and keynote speaker program. Donation will support Growing Together: An LGBTQ+ Fund operations in order to continue outreach, educational, and community events. In order to offer a sliding scale registration fee, there is only one ticket allotted per transaction. You may purchase up to 2 tickets, which would require 2 transactions.
