The Pinellas County Redundant Force Main Project is installing 3.4 miles of new force main pipe to replace aging infrastructure and ensure reliable wastewater service to the Seminole and Pinellas Park areas. The new force main, a 36-inch diameter pipe with a life expectancy of 50 years or more, will replace an existing 20-inch force main in the Seminole area that is more than 50 years old. The new pipe will connect to another force main in the area to allow for future repairs and maintenance without service interruption.
