NAUGATUCK, CT — A firefighter was injured in a building fire Tuesday morning in Naugatuck, according to fire officials.
In a Facebook post, fire officials said crews were called to a building on Andrew Avenue after a fire broke out.
While battling the blaze, a firefighter was injured and rescued from the building's second floor, officials said. The firefighter's injury was non-life threatening.
The Waterbury Fire Department and Beacon Hose Co #1 provided assistance at the scene of the fire while The Volunteer Fire Department of Prospect, Inc. and Oxford Center Volunteer Fire Company provided station coverage.
