The purpose of the meeting is to develop a common understanding of the After-Action Review (AAR) process, the intent of the process, the key elements, and the application of the process to facilitate collective learning and operational improvement after a public health response.
Attendees will:
Develop an understanding of an AAR
Understand an entity’s functional capability during an emergency
Identify how actions were actually taken in comparison to how policies, procedures, and systems should have ideally been implemented
Identify areas of improvement for future learning and implementation
