If you are looking for a creative and hand on environment this is the place for you! We are an event/wedding decor company. Looking to add a few more team members for various events this summer. We can have you start as soon as this weekend! You will also potentially have the opportunity to pick up more events throughout the rest of the year and beyond. This is a great job if you are looking for a side hustle and pick up events part time. Perfect for a college students or someone with a flexible schedule. We post up schedules in advance where you can pick up as many events with us as you like. Best of all we pay you immediately at end of each event! We will train you on the job, no experience necessary. But experience with events, floral, or general handyman is a plus! Tasks will include loading and unloading fragile decor items, boxes, and heavy furniture from truck. At the venue you will be setting up and taking down backdrops (pipe and drape), lights, centerpieces (vases, candles, florals), linens, and other decor related items. To qualify you must have the following below: - Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation/own vehicle, and a phone - Comfortable driving to different locations around Chicago/Suburbs - Available and flexible to work primarily Friday- Sunday, sometimes Thursdays - Must be available to work both Set up time (typically between 11am-7pm) and Take down time (typically between 11pm-3am) hours. *Events usually take 5-8 hrs total - Must be reliable, on time, and will not cancel last minute - Able to lift 50-75 pounds - Comfortable loading and unloading trucks and familiar with using carts and dollies - Can learn quickly and adapt on the job - Comfortable working independently and as a team - Can follow safety and covid guidelines - Has attention to detail - Enjoys the creative process Please forward your resume and/or tell us a little bit about why you would be a good fit for our team!
