Celebrate the ultimate rite of spring in Andalucía: La Feria de Abril! This annual celebration of La feria takes place in Seville, when the city stops to celebrate with music, dance, food, and friendship. It is one of the most beautiful festivals in Spain and a place where flamenco takes on a festive energy. Join us under the A Través caseta for La Feria ATLANTA 2022 on Saturday, May 14 at Madrid Spanish Taverna in Roswell. We have a special day planned to recognize the celebration in Seville and also celebrate the one-year anniversary of the restaurant, which is home of an exciting weekly live flamenco show. We will gather on May 14 under the big VIP Spanish-style tent, rain or shine, for a packed day of activities. --------------------------- SCHEDULE – All activities under VIP caseta Roving fiesta performers all day Kids activities, such as crafts and games, all day 1:00 p.m. Doors open 2:00 -2:30 p.m. Cooking/Spanish cuisine demonstration 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. Class! Learn to dance and sing sevillanas. As a bonus, we also are ready to teach bulerías, tangos, and rumba. Then, join the roving fiesta if you feel the duende, or join the sevillanas dancing later in the evening. 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. Performance on the big stage 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Class! Learn to dance and sing sevillanas. As a bonus, we also are ready to teach bulerías, tangos, and rumba. Then, join the roving fiesta if you feel the duende, or join the sevillanas dancing later in the evening.. 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. Performance on the big stage 5:30 -6:00 p.m. Cooking/Spanish cuisine demonstration 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Pasarela and traje de flamenca costume contest 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Sevillanas dancing and live flamenco music 8:00 – 8:45 p.m. Performance on the big stage featuring José Moreno --------------------------- TICKETS Admission to the event is $50 for adults and $25 for kids. Admission includes: Two beverages, such as wine, beer, sangria, or non-alcoholic drinks Two tapas All classes and performances Additional food and beverages will be for sale at the caseta. All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be available for ticket sales. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit Sunshine on a Ranney Day and the amazing work they do!
