Hi there, A friend was a victim of a serial smash & grab gang a few weeks ago out at the Marina Green. Plain clothes cops were tracking them and saw them ditch a bunch of stuff at 18th & Hampshire-ish. Among that stuff was an instrument case with a bassoon inside. The soft case was left behind but someone took the instrument and the hard case between the time it was dumped and the time the police collected the pile of discarded items. The bassoon is a Heckel bassoon, is red in color and was in a hard case that is black with rounded corners and has a broken handle and broken clasp. There is a reward offered for the return of the item. If you picked it up or know someone who picked it up, please contact me. Thank you.
