Rik Shedden Guitar Studio Registration is open for the Fall 2020 Online Program First Lesson is Free Learner-centered ◈ Curriculum-based ◈ Teaching excellence Young Learners program geared towards Age groups 6-8 (4 levels), 9-14 (4 levels) and 15+ (3 levels then a custom advanced level) Complete chords, strums, reading and even song writing! Team Play    Co-Learning for Ages 9-14. (Max class size 4) Team Play involves: Active Learning (individual attention to each student), Passive Learning (Students learning by watching others), and Team Play (Playing and learning together as a group). Adult Learners     Entry-level to Advanced to Performance Acoustic – From open chords to open mics with standard barre chords, advanced barre chords, chord inversions and the fundamentals of theory. Electric – Standard to advanced barre chords to inversions, scales, soloing, fundamentals of theory, gear talk, jamming and live play. A skilled guitarist and gifted teacher with a long history of guitar playing and a dedicated academic background. Formally educated in guitar performance, I have live gig and studio recording experience. I am also passionate about teaching and work equally well with entry-level and more advanced players. With a view to accelerated learning, I lay out the fundamentals of music, and the more technical aspects of guitaring, in a simple yet engaging way. Once students get through the basics, we customize lessons to reach your goals for playing guitar.
