Description
I'm a recently retired Machinist with a very well stocked machine shop, woodworking shop, and materials Warehouse. I have a neuromuscular disease that has taken away the ability to build. I get the most satisfaction out of life building tangible items. I can't do the work anymore, but I still have the tools and knowledge. I have helped a few people who had an idea in their head but did not know how to implement it. Anything from a prototype to a particular piece of furniture you feel is overpriced. I don't know what I would charge, I suppose it would depend on how much time you needed and how many of my materials. Money is not my motivation. This sense of accomplishment is. I quite enjoy teaching as well. I know this is a bit of a long shot and wildly unspecific, this is somewhat by design. I have invented several products used in different industries, but I have gotten much more satisfaction helping families or individuals translate what they see in their head into a project doable for them. Obviously there are many concerns with insurance and liability, I have not yet researched this. I don't think this is necessary unless you want to bring children. Let me know what you have in mind, I would love to help you achieve it.
