WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Authorities on Monday identified two men who died after a boating accident Friday on Big Marine Lake. The bodies of Richard Thomas Gannon, 45, of Centerville, and Tony Randall Boyce, 55, of Hugo, were pulled from the lake over the weekend, the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office announced Monday morning. Officials said the cause of their deaths remains under investigation. Witnesses there reported two men lost control of a boat shortly after leaving the landing and were thrown into the water, police said. Several people heard the men calling for help and searched for them in their own boats but could not find them Friday afternoon, police said.
