LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Are you looking to celebrate Laguna Beach's rich heritage? May is the month to do it, as the City of Laguna Beach kicks off Heritage Month with a whole slew of events, starting with a free Heritage Month celebration on Thursday. The opening event will be held in the Rose Garden at Hotel Laguna, the city said. Residents of the community are encouraged to stop by and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, free of charge. The opening night celebration takes place Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hotel Laguna, 425 S. Coast Hwy.
